Many countries have many secrets and precious jewels and further to my recent trip to Greece I am delighted to announce that I was so fortunate to discover the wonderful secret called Zakynthos ( Zante ) and then to enjoy one of the islands finest jewels whilst staying at the Villa Mont Bleu From the moment we swept up the drive to the front entrance we knew that our stay was to be likened to staying in a very special Villa / Millionaires Retreat !!!!!!! We were immediately welcomed by Billy, the villa owner , who welcomed our party into this most wonderful Villa and conducted through the villa and all the magnificent rooms A huge entrance lobby and a modern open plan lounge with clever lighting, complete with a grand piano and enough floor space to hold a concert

Η Villa Mont Bleu είναι μια μαγευτική κατοικία που ανεβάζει την έννοια του όρου πολυτέλεια σε ένα νέο, εντυπωσιακό επίπεδο.
Ίσως να είναι μια από τις πιο ευμεγέθεις και επιβλητικές βίλες διακοπών σε όλα τα Επτάνησα. Αποτελείται από τέσσερα επίπεδα ευρύχωρης μεγαλοπρέπειας (ένα υπόγειο, το ισόγειο και δύο ορόφους ακόμα).
Η Villa Mont Bleu προσφέρει μια μεγάλη πισίνα και μια εκπληκτική θέα στη γύρω περιοχή, είτε πρόκειται για θέα στη θάλασσα, το βουνό είτε στον προσεγμένο και περιποιημένο κήπο.

The tour continued as we swept up the marble staircases to the first floor bedrooms which were all so spacious and a Master Bedroom and bathroom which would not look out of place in The Ritz. Three double bedrooms on this floor and then another large lounge looking out to sea Onwards and upwards again up the marble staircase and another two very large double bedrooms with all the expected facilities including fitted televisions ( As per every room, including kitchens and bathrooms ) We were all convinced that there had been a huge mistake, that the palace belonged to a member of the royal family and that our villa was probably situated somewhere in the grounds
Having been shown by Billy how all the appliances worked internally, we were then shown the externals which included a fully kitted BBQ area with sink, and complete with marble table and chairs , a pool table and a table tennis table. Next was the wonderful swimming pool, and sunbathing platform which was just perfect and looked even more perfect when beautifully lit at night All in all, our villa was way beyond any of our expectations and it was just a total joy to spending our holiday in such a wonderful residence Our host Billy could not have made us more welcome both on our arrival and throughout our stay at the Villa Mont Bleu.
He presented us with a marvellous welcome pack of food and drink on our arrival and he continuously helped us with regards to local knowledge and also printing off our PCR tests in readiness for our return to the UK. Billy was indeed the perfect host and we knew that if ever we had a problem whilst on holiday, that Billy would have been there to help us To summarise , Villa Mont Bleu is a most wonderful experience which will not disappoint in any way. Its just like staying in a wonderful palace with fabulous rooms and facilities to enjoy. Ideal for larger parties to enjoy and for everyone to feel that they have so much space within the Villa
